This film was a little disappointing, being a fan of the Stephen King book. It's definitely well-acted and has its tense scenes, but had more potential as a great story than what was ultimately brought to the screen. The ending is different here, than the far superior end of the book, which is always disheartening when changed to appease mass audiences. McKellen is excellent though.

I found this disturbing and found it difficult to watch. Very stressful for some reason. I remember watching a bit, turning off, coming back and finnishing it later.
