|Cast: Albert Brooks,
Director(s): Albert Brooks
Genre: Not Selected / Unknown
This is a real gem, especially if you're an Albert Brooks fan, but even if you're not. It's just a charming film about a middle-aged guy tracing all his women problems back to his mother, and moving in with her temporarily to try and figure things out. Brooks is his usual acerbic, dry, dead-pan self (but not in the Woody Allen way that you despise Mikey - give this one a go! It even has Rob Morrow!), and the interaction between him and Debbie Reynolds is priceless. A very underrated fave of mine.
Let me tell you about my mother...
Actually, I'm a big Albert Brooks fan (ever since Finding Nemo)...
I may give it a go (pass it off as a "Couple movie" next time the missus wants to rent a film)...
This was a pleasant surprise. Never heard of it. Mitch rented it when we were visiting my mom one weekend in Ottawa. Great movie. ditto to what Mitch wrote
