I'm gonna reluctantly give this one three stars, just because I was thoroughly amused, but it could've been SO much more. The concept here is great and could've been mined for more potential laughs. Anyways, it's a decent flick, peppered with some very funny scenes, and even the presence of Ben Stiller didn't taint this for me, which is saying something. He was actually likeable here. Hank Azaria and William H. Macy are always great, but my fave character was The Sphinx, just because all he did was spout bad proverbs. Hilarious.
Side note: I own a bowling ball with a skull in it, just like Janeane Garofalo's character, The Bowler, despite the fact that I bowl very rarely and quite am quite mediocre when I do. Still, it's a cool ball.
'tis true, he's mediocre. I've seen it.
that guys just confusing.
I got to give this 3 stars, because my mum would never forgive me if I didn't.
good, not great. But lots of funny stuff here. Just some of the names are funny like Casanova Frankenstein or Captain Amazing.
