Meh. Not too good, not too bad. Kim Bassinger was indeed hot in the bedroom scene. But the writing is pretty bland.
And the alien masters speak with a British accent, of course! I liked the recent Dr. Who series where the human who meets him says "You're an Alien? But you sound like you're from the north (of England)" to which the Doctor replies "Every planet has a north".
Wasn't so great.
You know, I have to admire Kim Bassinger. She could have been rellegated to the discount bin with Tawny Kittaen, Samantha Fox and Sybil Danning as cheap, dime-store sex-pots that 30-something men are embarassed to say they shanked off to back in highschool...
But she took on roles that kinda transcended this appeal. While this movie sorta cashed in on the sex-pot image (i.e. bedroom scene), it was kinda of a departure for her anyways.
As was "Blind Date" which was darker and more funny than most people let on...
