|Cast: John Cleese,
Jamie Lee Curtis|
Director(s): Charles Crichton
Another classic 80's comedy. Cleese is always good. The story was great. I think the key here is that each actor really brought something special to this movie. They were all great. I think Kevin Klein got an Oscar Nomination for this....am I right?
'Oh no, it's KaKaKaKen co-co-co-coming to ka-ka-ka-kill me"
This movie always seemed to me like a bunch of GREAT comedien/ennes all working JUST for the FUN of it.
They all looked relaxed and enjoying themselves which translated into Comedy GOLD! The second one didn't have the same charm (they're in it for the money now, I guess)...
One of my fave comedies. Great performances all around, and yes, Kline did win an Oscar for this, which is rare, they almost never give Oscars for comedy. (Except 'Braveheart' and 'Gladiator').
John Cleese has been in steady decline since this. Shame.
Just re-watched this yesterday and still laughed my ass off. Holds up well. That old woman with her poor three dogs....
I;m 38...I'm not old.
Well, sorry, but from behind you looked...
My Name's Dennis

Egads! Even I'm getting T.O.'d with all this incessant Monty Python quotes...
