Not bad, but not great either. The animation is top-notch, as usual, but the story was lacking. It just didn't get me going. I liked the gangster fish quite a bit. But overall I found the Wil Smith character annoying as well as too flashly.

Ahhhhh....the only movie my son and I have walked out of together (and not for any reasons related to temper tantrums).

The movie suffered from a double-edged deathstroke: it was TOO adult for kids and TOO childish for adults. The theme of gambling/mafia hits/all-night parties/Angelina Jolie gold digging sexpot/etc. was simply TOO adult for its intended audience: toddlers and tweenies. Trying to be too much like Shrek which DID work on both levels it shot for those themes trying to make it a movie the whole family could enjoy (and spend money to see).

Unfortunately, it failed and was quite boring.

The Incredibles on the other hand....WOW. Simply WOW. What a fabulous movie for kids, adults, EVERYONE.

My $0.02!

I agree with everyone's assessments here.
This was fine, but not great. From the get go I was comparing to Nemo (no comparison). I did like how all the characters are drawn to look like the people doing the voices. Story was VERY lacking.
