We've always known that Spider-Man's most important conflict has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that his greatest battle is about to begin. It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). ALMOST 2 years to the day: I'M BACK!!!

Pulled back in by the IMMORTAL Deril and his lonliness.

Saw this in the theatre with THE GIRL and was pretty underwhelmed. Electro is one of my fave Spidey villains with his yellow lightning mask and green tights - they COMPLETELY threw that out and went with the Ultimate Electro look: bald and blue and....well, kinda dull.

Throw in a small subplot of The Rhino (who's costume I DID like) and the Green Goblin and Gwen Stacey (played by the ultimately HAWTE Emma Stone) and bingo-bango, cash your cheque for $1B and prep the 3rd sequel.

I saw it just last month and have already forgotten 90% if it. Save for the ending (minor spoiler) easter egg with the Gentleman and seeing all the OTHER villains of the Sinister 6 (Vulture, Doc Oc, etc) - but will they have Mysterio???!!! ONLY TAYME WILL TELL!

Welcome back!

I watched this with my son. His first non-kiddie movie in theatres so I have a biased opinion on this one as I enjoyed the experience.
The movie was much better than the first which isn't saying much.

Bottom line is that I didn't hate it but they could do so SO much better with the Spidey universe.

I agree about Emma Stone. HAWT!

Way to bungle the poster pic on your first trip back, Clippers! (aaaand Mitch is already strting with the taunting that made everyone jump ship the first time around. Prove me wrong, Rob 'you have no soul!' St. Martin!)
To make up for it, here's the first bewbes pic in a few years.

What's your rating of this movie?
