Ouch.

Now, I wouldn't BOMB this movie...it did provide the ODD chuckle here and there...but DAYYYME, they were few and far between.

Mostly it was uncomfortable, hard-to-watch and for a comedy - IT WASN'T FUNNY.

BOTH the Woodcock character and the Fat Kid Grown Up were equally reprehensible, they were BOTH assholes!

And Susan Sarandon playing probably the SINGLE most clueless mother of all time?? And the tacked on girl interest? And Amy Poehler as the sex-pot, alcoholic agent...even THAT was more uncomfortable than funny.

Meh.

I HIGHLY UN-recommend this film!

Minky

P.S. Normally, I'd add a picture at the end, but I'm literally AFRAID to do an image search on "Woodcock".....

POL!
Your fears were unfounded, my friend!
This was the first pic that came up (on Google images, with the filters off!) and it pretty much stays that way with the occasional pic of Billy Bob Thornton. No wooden penises whatsoever!

I watched this the other night and kinda liked it. I see what Mikey is saying, and it isn't a great film by any stretch, but I think he's being a little too harsh here.

yes some of it is uncomfortable, but some of it was funny and i did laugh out loud a couple of times
