Fantastic. Laughed the whole way through.
Nicholson and particularly Keaton have such good chemistry it's just amazing to watch the pros. This film is smart, the writing is quick and sharp and just feels so real, a rarity nowadays. There are moments that make you want to simultaneously laugh and cry, everyone just looks so natural within their roles (ok, so Keanu is a doctor - his character works though), and well, I'm just kinda floored by how much I enjoyed it and how much I cared about these characters, I don't know what else to say!
If you wanna score brownie points with the missus, this is a good way to do it and still see a great film.
Incidentally, Diane Keaton is still sexy and there's a sex scene with Nicholson that is one of the most honest and memorable in recent history. I mean this sincerely, not trying to be my usual PLONT/crass self.

Agreed. A very good & smart comedy. Nicholson can really carry a film when he wants to.

True, but I really think Keaton outdid everyone here. Will she get nominated for 'Mad Money' as well, alongside Katie Holmes and Queen Latifah?
Only TAIME will tell!
