Good film, very inventive but does it REALLY appeal to both kids and adults??! Jury's out on that one...

I think it TRIES to, being SOMEWHAT scary that even a child can watch it, feel the sense of fear but still be talked out of the nightmares by an adult.

It's an interesting story-line for adults but still suffers from TOO much realism in the animation making the characters look "bizarre" and a bit wooden.

Still, it was MUCH better than most OTHER children's fare out there...

LOL! My kids will say, "Eeeek, MONSTER HOUSE!! I don't want to watch that!! It's TOOOO scary!!!" yet sit there and watch the entire thing...

Now, on to Freddy vs. Jason!

meh! I was a little let down. I thought it would be better. I watched the whole thing, but found it a little boring after a while. Still, yes, it IS better than most children's crap-o-la, but I think 3 stars it a wee bit too high for me.
