In 2004, a low-budget horror film about a man who put people with moral failings into grisly, murderous situations became a huge hit. In 2005, the sequel scored again, upping the body count and the terror. In 2006, the franchise continued, with plenty of gore as well as an emotional story line that delved into the psychological makeup of the main characters. As SAW II concluded, Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) was dying. But that doesn't mean his penchant for playing games of torture and violence is ending.... [Get complete synopsis]

Rented it. Gonna watch tonight in the dark all alone as I did with the first 2. Really enjoyed Saw & Saw II. This now has high expectations for me. Will it be as good? Only TIME will tell.

Review pending.

PS - glad they are using the same director as SAW II

Started watching at around 11:30 last night. Really got into it quickly. Starts off fast, VERY bloody (even more than part 1 & 2). The boy started getting fussy around 12:15ish and I wasn't able to concentrate SO.
Tonight's line up is
1) - going to Anat's Aunt's house for Shavuot (spelling?)
2) - Come home, wash the kiddies up and send them to bed
3) - Watch the final night of performances on American Idol
4) - Head down to the basement to watch the conclusion of Saw III

Ps. Mikey, if you are so anxious, you can just go rent it. Nu?

you have 2 kids and still find time for video games?? I want your life. I only h ave time for 1o movies / week

We're like Yin and Yang: you watch 40+ hours of movies/week, I play 40+ hours of WOW a week!

We only need "The Chosen One" to come forth and bring balance to the Force.

Well, just watched the end of this. What a flop. It started off greatr and then fizzled right at about the spot I had stopped it at last night.

****minor spoilers********

The bottom line here is "who cares" the whole thing was about the bad guys living or dying. A family we couldn't care less about because they didn't build it up.

The whole story just got sloppy and finnished pretty weak.

This is just a loose plot to hang "new ideas" on how to grusomely kill someone. And the ideas seem to be conceived by some pimply 14 year old boy on the back of his notebook in History class.

(Cracking voice from Simpsons): "OKAY - see? There's this sick machine, eh? And, ummm, we have the guy tied in the bottom and it grinds pigs and drowns him in the guts? Pwned!!" *shows crudely drawn picture of said machine*

And it continues with the tedious "philosophy" of this Jigsaw idiot trying to teach people the glory of living by killing them. I'd venture a guess that this was supposed to be poetic and ironic, but then catch myself.

It's just DUMB.

I THINK I might actually STOP here....*GASP!* Am I cured?!! AM I FREE?!?!!?!!!

Quick! Someone rent me something decent: WHERE'S MY COPY OF "BOY IN THE STRIPED PAJAMAS!"???!!!!

What's your rating of this movie?
