Leslie Nielson, the go-to guy for every spoof n' pun sight gag movie out there, really should've known when to say no. This wasn't directed or written by the Zucker/Zucker/Abrahams team, just some wannabes, and it shows. The 'jokes' are
atrocious, UNFUNNY, and downright embarrassing. The spoofs and parodies are just recreations of scenes from other films, but nothing is added. Watching Neilson and some woman dressed as Travolta and Thurmann from 'Pulp Fiction' and dancing that way isn't inheritantly funny. The opening James Bondesque sequence and theme song (by Weird Al) IS funny and cute, but also the only memorable part of this film. Everyone involved should be ashamed of themsleves.
It DOES however have Alexandra Paul. (Who I met and worked with on 'A Woman Hunted' - another bad film, but she's an awesome person.)
very bad. Nielson has some great movies, but this is one of his worst outings.
That's the chick from Who Killed the Electric Car! She has a large role in the film!
Yeah, I noticed that in the preview.
When I worked with her, she was UBER recycling - always brought her own mug for coffee so as not to use anything disposable, never used straws, etc...
She wasn't preachy about it either. Not like Ziggy!
