Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (1983)

Cast: Monty Python Cast

Director(s): Terry Jones

Language: English

Genre: Comedy

The Monty Python collective explains it all in this episodic comedy that dares to take on the most "sacred" aspects of life--sex, food, politics and religion--and bring them hilariously down to earth. One of the many highlights is the "Every Sperm is Sacred" episode that opens the film.

Mood: And it did goooo wherever I did goooo!
Another classic. These guys are untouchable. I remember seeing it the first time in grade 6 and laughing primarily at the fat guy puking everywhere in the restaurant (It's wafer thin!).
Of course now I 'get' the rest of the film, but in grade 6, you can't beat the comic value of a fat guy puking everywhere and then exploding!
Other great moments: Every Sperm is Sacred, Live Organ Transplants, "Ooooh fishy fishy fish!", "It's a Mr.Death...something about the reaping....?", the man who's chosen how he'd like to die and is chased off a cliff by topless women dressed in rollerball gear, and Michael Palin and Eric Idle dressed as a tiger.

Obviously a no brainer. This is classic Monty Python.
