A great true story with a standout all-encompassing performance from Geoffrey Rush. The character can be annoying yet sympathetic, endearing yet pathetic, humourous yet sad. (Brown yet green!)
Rush touches on so many levels of human emotion here, and is surrounded by great supporting performances. I normally hate 'triumph-of-the-human-spirit' type stories a la 'Alive' and such, but this one had me all the way.
Great music too.

(hmmmm...Geoffrey Rush starred, they should've gotten Rush to do the soundtrack. "Hey, ten bucks is ten bucks, eh?".....but I digress...)
