|Cast: William Shatner,
Director(s): Leonard Nimoy
Genre: Science Fiction
Always liked this one (even though it was the OLD crew....meh)....contained some of my favourite lines:
Kirk: Klingon bastard! You killed my son!
Kirk: You should take the Vulcan too.
Kirk: But why?
Kruge: Because you wish it.
I DID enjoy the absolute hatred between Kirk and the Klingons...as opposed to the talky-talk diplomacy of Picard and later "90's" Star Trek who tried "working it out" instead of riding in Photons a-blaze...
But Seven-of-Nine always filled out a Uniform nicer than Uhura....so there!
It gets a star for "Khaaaan!!!" and the "Klingon bastard" line, but that's it.
This is Jeff, age 11.
Dude... "KHAAAAAN!" was Star Trek TWO.
Not the best of the series, but up there, mainly for Christopher Lloyd as the ULTIMATE KLINGON EVER.
A mid-level acheivement of the original cast movies...
ST1: **** (i know everyone hates the first one, but it is actually the most intelligent and nuanced of all of them; moreover, it was the truest to the original series, so FYMFs).
speaking of gay romping...
I have a personal funny story regarding a friend who got VERY drunk and ran around the house for hours yelling at the top of his lungs "YOU KLINGON BASTARD, YOU KILLED MY SON!!!!" until he passed out and puked. Therefore this movie added some value to my life and for that I'll give it ...
PS> ST II was by far the best of the old crew, and Mitch, the KAAHHHN! line was from that one.
Whatever. I need a drink.
